Patterson EC Variable-Speed Fans 14", 18" and 22"
Patterson's 14", 18" and 22" high-velocity fans with an electronically commutated (EC) motor and a white finish. Speed is adjustable from 300 to 1,800 RPM, so the same fan can run gentle air over young plants and full air through a filled-in canopy. One motor auto-adapts to any single-phase supply from 115V to 277V.

Common questions
What does EC mean?
Electronically commutated. The motor has its drive built in, so speed can be set anywhere from 300 to 1,800 RPM without a separate VFD, and one motor runs on any single-phase supply from 115V to 277V.
How do I control the speed?
The simplest option is the Symax speed controller (SKU 12060), a dial wired with shielded 22-gauge 3-conductor signal wire. For automation, the motor also accepts 0–10 VDC, 4–20 mA, PWM or MODBUS over RS485. See the EC motor wiring guide below.
