Patterson DB quiet, low-profile fan
A double-blower fan only 12.1" tall that moves 2,480 CFM at 60 dB, about 70% quieter than a standard 18" high-velocity fan. It slides under benches to push CO2 and air through the lower canopy, and fits low-ceiling rooms where an 18" fan is too large.

Where space is tight and quiet matters
- Whisper-quiet 60 dB at 3 ft, about 70% quieter than a standard 18" high-velocity fan, so crews can talk over it while they work the room.
- Low profile 12.1" housing, 13.5" overall with the carry bracket, against 22" for a 14" fan and 25" for an 18" fan: about 50% more headroom.
- Two columns of air A double blower pushes two even streams of air instead of one cone, for close to 18" fan performance from a fan you can slide under a bench.
- Light on power 1/2 HP motor: 2.5 A on 277V, 5.75 A on 115V.

Mounts that fit
- YokeStandard; hangs or sits the fan wherever it's needed.
- RM DBRack mount, 21" arm, for hanging the DB from racking or bench frames.
Where the DB works best
- Under benches and rolling tables, moving CO2 and air through the lower canopy
- Low-ceiling flower rooms where an 18" fan sits in the lights
- Rooms where staff work all day and fan noise matters
Common questions
Why put a fan under the benches?
CO2 and still air settle under a dense canopy. The DB is 12.1" tall, so it fits under benches and rolling tables and pushes air through the lower canopy, which the fans above the lights can't reach.
How does it compare to an 18" fan?
It moves 2,480 CFM against the 18" fan's 3,800, at 60 dB instead of about 76 dB at 3 ft, and needs about half the headroom.
Which motor should I order?
DB-A runs on 115V or 220V single phase, DB-C on 277V single phase, and DB-B on 208–230V or 460V three phase. Each comes with or without an on/off switch.
Will it fit under my benches?
The housing is 35" long, 18.3" deep and 12.1" tall (13.5" with the carry bracket). Check the clear height under the bench frame and the gap between legs or cross-bracing, so the fan blows straight under the bench, not into a leg.
How far does it push air?
Patterson rates the throw at 70 ft. On their airflow chart the air is still moving at about 417 ft per minute 50 ft from the fan, so one DB carries air the length of a typical bench run.
Can it hang instead of sitting on the floor?
Yes. The standard yoke lets it sit or hang, and the RM DB rack mount hangs it from racking or bench frames on a 21" arm. Order the rack-mount version by adding -RM-DB to the model code.
