Patterson 26" high-velocity fan

A 1 HP fan for big spaces: 7,650 CFM thrown out to 150 ft. We carry it with the inverter-duty motor, so a row of 26" fans can run from one variable frequency drive and be turned down when full speed isn't needed.

Inverter-duty motor

We carry this size with the inverter-duty three-phase motor, built to run from a variable frequency drive so a whole row of fans can be slowed or sped up together.

Where It Fits

Where the 26" High-Velocity fan works best

  • Large flower halls and greenhouses, roughly 6,100 ft² per fan
  • Facilities that want room-wide speed control from a VFD
  • Beam or truss mounting high above the canopy with the beam clamp
Questions

Common questions

How is speed controlled on the INV model?

Inverter-duty fans run from a variable frequency drive (VFD). One drive can run a bank of fans; it is sized to the total horsepower on it and to the facility's input power. We carry E510 drives from 3 to 8 HP in 230V and 460V versions. See Patterson controls and VFDs.

How is it mounted?

Every fan ships with a yoke mount for walls, posts and ceilings. Rack mounts hang it from pallet racking or shelving to clear the canopy, and the beam clamp grips a structural beam or truss without drilling.

Can it run at lower speed?

Yes, through the VFD. Turning down the drive slows every fan on it, which lowers airspeed and noise when full speed isn't needed.
