VKIN UCHA-36TDC 3-ton high-static REHEAT heat pump for long duct runs
Where the range switches to a high-static concealed chassis — airflow can be pushed down long duct runs, so one unit can serve a room it isn't sitting inside. Adds MERV-13 filtration and the highest efficiency in the line at EER2 12.20.

36,000 Btu/h with three-pipe hot-gas reheat, holding temperature and humidity through lights-on and lights-off.
MERV-13 filtration on the indoor unit. Pair with an external humidifier where the room needs water added.
Hot-gas reheat
Dry the room, not the plants.
- Cool & dehumidify
The main indoor coil pulls water out of the air until the room hits its humidity setpoint (30–90% RH).
- Recover the heat
Hot refrigerant gas runs through a second indoor coil, so the heat the compressor already made warms the dried air back up.
- Hold temperature
Supply air leaves at your setpoint, so lights-off dehumidification doesn’t chill the canopy, and there’s no electric strip reheat.

How much water does the UCHA-36TDC remove?
About 274 pints per day (11.41 pints/hour) in cooling mode at 80.6°F and 60% RH, and about 368 pints per day in constant-temperature mode at 80.6°F and 80% RH.
What does high static mean for my install?
The fan can push air against up to 0.8 in. W.C. of duct resistance (rated 0.51), so the unit can sit in a mechanical space and duct air to the room. The 18TDC and 24TDC are limited to 0.12 in. W.C.
Does the UCHA-36TDC humidify?
Not on its own. Unlike the 18TDC and 24TDC, it doesn’t have a built-in humidifier, so pair it with an external humidifier if the room runs dry.
What power does it need?
Single-phase 208–277V, 50/60 Hz. Rated cooling input is 2,950 W at 12.8 A.
